Cap and Gown Information
Graduation Ceremony Dress Code
Graduation Seating/Tickets/Inclement Weather
Outside Ceremony: Cardinal Stadium
We prepare to have our graduation ceremony outside on our football field. For this event, we only require tickets for handicap accessible seating, and Cardinal Family* seating for the ceremony. Tickets must be presented to sit in ticketed areas. All handicap accessible tickets are given one companion ticket. Guests of graduates for the ceremony are not permitted to enter the stadium prior to 5:30pm. There are no tickets required for general admission for an outside ceremony at Cardinal Stadium.
Inside Ceremony (Inclement Weather Only!): Gymnasium, Auditorium, Cafeteria
If there is inclement weather, Administration will make the decision to move the ceremony indoors to the gymnasium. This decision will take place before Tuesday of graduation week, as things will need to be set up in advance of the ceremony. Seniors and families will be advised through the Class of 2025 Schoology group, and NTouch messaging as well as the school's homepage. If the decision is made to move the ceremony indoors, graduates will each receive 6 tickets for graduation.
Live Stream of Ceremony: Hudl
As with all of our graduation ceremonies, the SMHS Broadcast team will be producing a live stream feed of our ceremony. The link to view the stream will be provided via school social media accounts, and NTouch messaging the week of the ceremony as well as the day of.
Class Photos
Each graduate will arrive at school dressed in their full and complete graduation attire no later than 4:30pm on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Meyerly and Lowe will be on site to take the senior class portrait at 4:45pm.
