Culinary arts students at James Rumsey Technical Institute won 1st place in the WV State ProStart Hospitality Cup Competition on Tuesday, March 3 at Stonewall Resort. They won first place in the culinary competition out of 13 teams after cooking their menu in an hour’s time with two burners and no access to electricity. The James Rumsey culinary students will be advancing to the National ProStart Competition in Baltimore, Maryland on May 2-4. More information about the national competition can be found at
