Cap & Gown Information
All students need to have a cap and gown for graduation. These can be ordered through Jostens.com as part of a graduation package or individually as a cap & gown unit. If you would like to use one from a family member or friend (class of 2016 or later) that is allowed. Please make sure that Mrs. Robinson (Room 112) knows your plan. Also please make sure the person you are borrowing from is of a similar height. Prices on caps and gowns go up December 15, so order early for the best pricing.
Attire for the Graduation Ceremony
Graduation is a formal ceremony. All students participating in the in the ceremony will wear a cap/gown purchased from Jostens.
Under the gown, students will wear one of the following outfits:
Dress of any color/design that cannot be seen below the gown (which hits mid-calf) or in the collar opening at the top of the gown.
Black pants, white shirt, red tie (straight or bow), black socks and shoes.
Dress shoes are required. Flats are recommended- heels need to be wedge so as not to sink into the grass.
**If procuring any part of the graduation outfit prior to graduation week would cause hardship to your family, please let the school office know, so that your Senior can be provided what they need.**
Scholarships
Regardless of your post-high school plan, it's a good idea to meet with your guidance counselor to discuss scholarships, grants, etc that may be applicable to your future plans.
