For the safety of our students, it is important that the following procedures be adhered to when dropping off and picking up students from school.

Arrival Time: 8:20 – 8:45 AM

In the morning, students will enter in the back of the school through the gate on Faulkner Avenue onto the playground. Children are to remain with parents until a staff member opens the gates for children to enter the school beginning at 8:20 am. The gates will be closed at 8:45 am.

At 8:45 AM your child will be considered tardy and you will need to come to the front doors to walk your child to the office and sign them in for the day.

Dismissal Time: 3:15 PM

Parent pickup: Parents will enter the back of the school using the gate on Faulkner Avenue. At 3:15 PM the gate will be opened for parents to enter and sign their child out for the day. Students will be dismissed to meet their parents.

Identification may be requested by staff members. If your child is being picked up by another family member or friend, you will need to send a note to school with your child that morning so that our staff will be aware of that change.

Buses: Buses will always load and unload in the back of the school. If your child is riding a different bus home other than their regular bus, a note will need to be sent to school, signed by the parents notifying the staff and driver of that change.

If your child will be going home after school with another child, a note from both children’s parents will be required to be sent to school that day.
