This morning, the fire alarm was accidentally activated. The fire department responded out of an abundance of caution, cleared the building, and reset the alarm. The building is safe, and normal operations have resumed.
This afternoon, MuHS was briefly placed in a lockdown after a staff badge was accidentally activated through our new remote alert system. While the system is not yet fully implemented, our staff immediately followed our lockdown protocol.
Please be assured that there was no threat to student or staff safety. Law enforcement was not dispatched, and normal school operations resumed shortly afterward.
We apologize for any concern this may have caused and appreciate your understanding as we continue to strengthen our safety practices.

If your student has turned 16 and will be a senior next year, please remember to submit documentation of their final MCV4 (Meningococcal) immunization.
This immunization is required for students to return to school as seniors in August. Documentation may be faxed, emailed, or delivered directly to the front office or school nurse.
