On Tuesday, October 10th,  6th-grade students from Northe Middle embarked on an unforgettable field trip to explore the rich history of our nation's capital. The day was filled with awe-inspiring moments and enriching experiences as the students visited iconic landmarks, including the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, WWII Memorial, and the U.S. Capitol Building.

At the WWII Memorial, the students were immersed in a tribute to the brave men and women who sacrificed so much during World War II. The memorial offered a somber yet poignant reminder of the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy today.

The final stop of the day was the U.S. Capitol Building, a symbol of our nation's governance. The students had the unique opportunity to witness the center of our nation's legislative process. They were inspired by the architecture and history of this iconic structure, reinforcing the importance of active citizenship and participation in our democracy.

A special thank you to all the 6th grade teachers & parent volunteers who made this field trip possible. The memories and lessons learned during this day will undoubtedly stay with our students for years to come.
