Dear Bulldog Community,

Welcome to Martinsburg High School, where we have been preparing students for the next step in their lives for 140 years.  Here at MHS our motto is “Enter to learn and go forth to serve” and we strive to live up to this motto on a daily basis.  The mission of Martinsburg High School is as follows:

Martinsburg High School will work collaboratively with all students, parents and community members to ensure the success of every student.

• We believe respect for self, others, and school creates a safe environment for learning.

Our staff seeks to live out this mission daily with the students that enter MHS.  Also, we encourage students to get involved in any of the extra-curricular and co-curricular activities that we have to offer and there are many.  Research shows that students who are more involved at their school perform better in the classroom and we would like for our students to capitalize on this fact.
