Vision Screening will be completed for all 8th grade students and new HMS students beginning January 10th. Please contact Mrs. Creel, School Nurse, at plcreel@k12.wv.us or 304-754-3313 if you have any questions or wish for your student NOT to be screened.
Reminder to all parents of 6th graders. The Tdap and Meningitis vaccines are required for all students entering 7th Grade. Please make your appointment now to have these completed and submit an updated copy of your child's immunization record to Mrs. Creel, School Nurse.

Upcoming Activities for 8th Graders
Vo-Ag - Friday, December 1: The Agricultural High School program students and teacher will be here to speak to 8th graders about the program. Science teachers will be taking the 8th graders to the cafeteria for the presentation and then outside to meet the animals. Wear a coat!
Parent Night, Wednesday, December 6: Mr. Lyons (HHS Principal) will be in the cafeteria from 6 pm – 7 pm to discuss High School scheduling with parents. Please enter through the back doors by the cafeteria and gym. (High School scheduling sheets will be due to Mrs. Corea or Mrs. Riggs by December 21.)
Thursday, December 7: The 8th grade Social Studies teachers will take their classes to the cafeteria for high school scheduling with high school Counselors. (High School scheduling sheets will be due to Mrs. Corea or Mrs. Riggs by December 21.)
