Beth Sedlar

Hi! I'm Ms. Sedlar and I have my Bachelor's of Arts from Fairmont State University. My Master's in School Counseling is from the University of West Alabama. I also graduated from the Paramedic Program from Blue Ridge Technical Community College. I have worked in education as a teacher/counselor for 30+ years, which includes coaching basketball and cross country. I have one fuzzy son, a labrador, Kona. I have participated in sprint, olympic and half-iron-man triathlons since 2008. I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, and just about any outdoor activity. I am looking forward to working with our teachers, students and parents this coming year!

Hi! I'm Ms. Wolfe and I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Development from American Public University System. My Master's of Education in School Counseling from Liberty University. I have worked in education for the past nine years. I have two teenagers and enjoy spending time with them whether we are swimming, traveling, or hanging out watching movies! I am excited to be working with our students, parents, and staff this year!

Mission Statement

The school counseling program at Musselman Middle is designed to provide a safe, supportive atmosphere where students can attain personal/social, academic and career success through a collaborative partnership with other educators, families, and the community.

We work hand in hand to nurture the physical, emotional, and intellectual dimensions that enhance life-long learning and foster a positive self-esteem that leads to becoming productive members of our community. 

Vision Statement

Musselman Middle students will acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to maximize their full potential and successfully reach their full potential while managing their lives as healthy, responsible, competent, and productive citizens.

The School Counseling program focuses on the West Virginia Student Success Standards. Students will learn how to increase interpersonal and social skills, refine learning and work.
