Our school is committed to supporting military children and their families in conjunction with the Purple Star Award designation. The Purple Star Award is a designation assigned to schools which display a special commitment to supporting military children and their families.

Boots to Bus Drivers
West Virginia initiative that connects military service members with training and funding for a career as a school bus operator. For more information, contact the Office of School Facilities and Transportation at 304-558-2711.

Information for military, reservists, and guardsmen to transition from active duty to a career in the construction industry.

West Virginia Department of Veteran Affairs
The WVDVA provides services and benefits assistance to veterans across the state.

The Workforce West Virginia website provides assistance to veterans seeking jobs in the civilian workforce.

Financial Aid Information

Dependents Education Assistance (DEA)
Financial assistance for school or job training for children or the spouse of a Veteran or service member who has died, is captured or missing, or has disabilities.

Fisher House Foundation Scholarship
Scholarships available for military children to recognize the contributions of military families.

Fry Scholarship
Financial aid benefits for children and surviving spouses of members of the Armed Forces who died in the line of duty after September 11, 2001.

GI Bill
