Good morning! There will be a PTO planning meeting on Tuesday, October 3rd at 6:30PM in the cafeteria. Our main focus will be planning the Trunk or Treat event but we will also talk about other events for the year. We hope everyone can attend to help plan these events.

Good morning! Our big fundraiser starts in a few days! Our goal is to raise $5,000.00 for essential programs not currently funded through traditional means. We are asking ALL parents to pre-register their student(s) here: https://www.shopfund.com/parentregister Please get at least one person to support our fundraiser before our official kick-off day. Any student that is registered and gets 10 shares clicked will be entered into a drawing for over $100,000 worth of prizes. How cool would it be if we took a chunk out of our goal BEFORE the fundraiser even starts? Thank you so much for your help!

Good morning! This week is the book fair. Students will visit and purchase books during their scheduled library day. Guardians are welcome to come during specials to shop with your kiddos. The Sidewalk Sale is also September 28th from 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM....all are welcome.

Car rider drop off is 7:50am for pre k and k-2nd line up at 8:00am. Pick up for pre k will begin at 1:50pm and k-2nd begin line up at 3:00pm. Thank you for your patience this week.

Governor Jim Justice has issued a proclamation officially declaring Monday, July 3, 2023, as a state holiday in West Virginia and creating a full holiday for state employees. In special observance of West Virginia's Independence Day holidays, all Berkeley County Schools and offices will be closed on Monday, July 3, 2023, and Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Stay safe and be well. Ron Stephens has been sworn in as the next Superintendent for Berkeley County Schools.

After serving one year in the interim role, Mr. Ronald E. Stephens IV was sworn in as our next Superintendent of Schools by the Honorable Judge Debra McLaughlin of the 23rd Judicial Circuit at Monday's Regular Board of Education Meeting. Mr. Stephens is a 30+ year veteran educator with more than 20 years of service to Berkeley County Schools. He and his wife Joette, also a 30+ year veteran educator, have three sons, who are all BCS graduates. Congratulations, Ron!

The learning never stops at Summer SOLE! Students are learning new skills by creating letters with their own printing press made from potatoes. Thank you to Mrs. Sonya Shockey for engaging students in this fun activity!
