This is my 8th year at Rosemont Elementary and my 20th year as a school counselor in Berkeley County. It is my pleasure to help students and their families work towards educational, social, and emotional success. I love getting to know our amazing Rosemont Rocket students and assisting with any needs they have. I am sure we will have a great year together!
Mission & Vision
Mission Statement
The mission of the Rosemont elementary school counselors is to provide a counseling program that is consistent, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate. The program will adhere to the national model developed by the American School Counseling Association (ASCA). The school counselors will provide; individual counseling services, small group counseling services, consultations with families and faculty, coordination of community resources to support students, and developmental guidance classroom lessons to enrich the development of all students. The school counselors’ goal is to work together with school officials, families, and community members to best support and encourage success in the lifelong learning and problem solving of students.
Vision Statement
All students will thrive in an inclusive, accepting, and challenging academic environment, that is focused on student growth, while being supported by their school-counseling program. This program will promote the growth of each individual student and the community through teacher, family, and community relationships. All students will become competent and productive citizens capable of achieving their goals. Our students will contribute respectfully and positively to their homes, schools, community, and state.
