Annette Jordan

Please join us in congratulating Annette Jordan on being our G.E.M. of the Week!

“Mrs. Jordan has been a teacher at HHS for more than 20 years. She is a Business teacher as well as our Student Government/Leadership Advisor. There is no one better suited for this role because of the dedication and eagerness to do for others that she displays in her job every day. She sets the perfect example to her students of what it means to be a good citizen. She not only assists them in leadership roles around the school, but also teaches them integrity, accountability, and respect. Our students become better people because of the kindness and compassion that she demonstrates. Her students are involved in various community service projects such as the Berkeley County Backpack Program, Special Olympics Unified Sports Program, United Way, Relay for Life, American Red Cross, and PASS. She has organized blood drives for the American Red Cross, and Relay for Life activities for the American Cancer Society. She also plans every Homecoming spirit week, which includes coordinating and organizing the pep rally and dance. After school, She volunteers countless hours as the school’s track and field computer official, football scoreboard operator, baseball game announcer, and meal and concession stand planning for the soccer and basketball teams. Annette leads by example and her enthusiasm and passion for education and service are contagious. Anyone who works with her is easily inspired by her optimism and energy. She has the heart of a servant and is a true blessing to HHS faculty, students, and parents.”
