  • Volunteers

If you came to orientation, you heard that if you wanted to chaperone or do other activities where you would be supervising children you would need to go through the process of a Level 1 volunteer.  Look for information here.

  • Dress Code

Please make sure that if your child is wearing sandals, that they have a back, and sneakers on days that they have P.E. class.  As warmer weather continues, we also want to make sure that children are wearing appropriate tops with bottoms that are finger tip length.

  • skoolbo

If you are interested in giving your kids extra practice on a game that will adjust to your child's needs, Skoolbo is a wonderful site!  The school has signed up for Skoolbo.  You can email Mrs. Rearick at to get your child's password and username. Then click on the picture above to enter the site.  Please do not help your children with problems.  Since it is paced by the number of right and wrong answers, it will start REALLY getting difficult!

A program designed to expand broadband adoption among low-income American households with at least one child eligible to receive free or reduced price school lunches.  Once in the program, participants receive fast, affordable Internet service for $9.95/mo + tax, the option to purchase a computer for just $150 and access to free digital literacy training.

      Internet Essentials

Also, look for papers to come home this fall regarding free Office 365 download!  Every child enrolled in Berkeley County Schools has 5 free downloads of Office 365.  This includes many applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.  Your child has also been assigned his or her own email address.   If you have questions after you receive the paper, please talk to your child's teacher and he or she will put you in contact with someone who can help.
