The Berkeley County Schools Office of Federal Programs channels federal funds to schools in the county and provides technical assistance in specific programs of the No Child Left Behind Act. The office manages funding from Title I, Title II, and Title III. Title I provides supplemental resources to economically disadvantaged schools to support the achievement of their students. Title II is dedicated to the growth and Professional Development of highly qualified teachers and administrators, and Title III is a supplemental program that concentrates on delivering language services to students who have a primary language other than English.
